I'm... taking some time off work. [It sounds like this confession literally had to be ripped from her throat.] When my bosses heard I'd died, they told me to come back when I was feeling better. I don't think this counts as better... I want to go back, but I'm scared of screwing up my work and having them lose their faith in me, so I just have to do this.
