[There was certainly nothing conventional about Zero's own movements, though now that she was actually fighting she felt slow without the use of her intoner powers. As soon as the axe started scraping though Zero flipped pushing down on the spear to add a little more power to the jump while the chain wrapped around the neck of the spear.
Landing solidly on her feet Zero pulled the spear tight. It was a problem, and had it been any other time she could have simply dissolved the spear and switched the sword and then back, but here that wasn't an option. But at the very least it kept the other from using the chain as a means of attack.]
