He couldn't believe that he had actually come out and asked her that. And more importantly, that she had said yes. No one said yes to him--it was something he had grown accustomed to. Eridan Ampora pushed and pushed and then eventually people just stepped back, and he fell on his face. They didn't stand toe to toe with him. And they certainly didn't actually look forward to his company.
