An old, brick edifice stands in front of the burnt-down ruins of a home in the hillside. Mountains rear up in all directions, covered in lush, green vegetation. Nobody comes this way anymore, but you have the sense that anything placed in the mailbox attached to this old structure will be found by someone, the only living person for whom this place still has any meaning.

Date: 2013-12-09 05:11 am (UTC)[her hands fold behind her head as she follows Samantha into the building.] I've never been to one of these before. What is it like?

Date: 2013-12-10 12:30 am (UTC)It sounds relaxing. Hehe, I should bring Booker here. [she can just imagine him sitting in a hot spring looking like his grumpy self with a gun nearby.] That might not be a bad idea, actually...

Date: 2013-12-10 03:11 pm (UTC)[Especially when it kind of blew up in their faces. Literally.
She started back and opened a door into a changing room. Walking in, she collected a couple of large bath towels and looked over her shoulder at Elizabeth, biting her lip.]
Ummm, while we're getting into the towels for the sauna, could you... not look at me? I'm a little self conscious about the scars.

Date: 2013-12-10 05:35 pm (UTC)[when they entered the changing room, Elizabeth looks around, taking it in before Sam speaks up.]
Oh... sure, that's okay. I'll go change on the other side.

Date: 2013-12-10 08:28 pm (UTC)[She breathed a sigh of relief when Elizabeth agreed and started getting undressed. There was a bit of a rush to it, slipping out of clothes and into the long bath towel. Still, no matter how she tried, when Elizabeth ever got a look at the red-head's back there was something amiss.
It wasn't easily visible, but there were two jagged scars that framed her spine, running up just inside of her shoulder-blades. They looked like the top of the scars, and that they ran down and out of sight. Old, they nevertheless looked unpleasant.]
You about ready?

Date: 2013-12-10 11:47 pm (UTC)Ah - yes, I'm ready! [out she comes to meet Sam with a smile.]

Date: 2013-12-11 04:11 am (UTC)So the idea of a sauna is that it's really hot inside. [She offered her another towel and wrapped one around her own hair.] Keep that there to help keep your head from getting too hot. You sweat out some of the stress and let the heat get into your muscles. It's really good.
[Leave it to the demon to like saunas.]

Date: 2013-12-11 07:06 pm (UTC)I see. That sounds very relaxing, actually. I'm a little excited! [she really needs to drag Booker here.]

Date: 2013-12-11 10:31 pm (UTC)It's definitely good for leeching the tension out of your muscles.

Date: 2013-12-12 01:30 am (UTC)Let me know if you ever start feeling woozy. But we can enjoy how the steam makes us feel...
(OOC: Hah, this is kind of a naughty icon, but it works perfectly for the sauna.)

Date: 2013-12-12 04:00 am (UTC)[at first she shivers when Samantha's tail wraps around her leg but she remembers what it was to the demon so she merely tried to relax again.]

Date: 2013-12-12 04:11 am (UTC)Why do I get the feeling you've had a bit of stress to get out recently?
[Probably because she was the source of some of it.]

Date: 2013-12-12 05:03 am (UTC)[she'd really rather not go into details as memories of what she saw, what she did - they'll just resurface. it's best not to reopen old wounds. Booker said just living with it is all she could do.]
This place is definitely helping. [Elizabeth tips her head back, letting out a deep breath as she closes her eyes.] Yes... this was most definitely a good idea.

Date: 2013-12-12 05:54 am (UTC)Glad to help. Anything I can do to help more? [Think of it as paying back for ... well, yeah.]

I'm glad you can relax like this. Glad you can with me for that matter.
[There. That was an innocuous test of the waters to calm her nerves, wasn't it?]
