An old, brick edifice stands in front of the burnt-down ruins of a home in the hillside. Mountains rear up in all directions, covered in lush, green vegetation. Nobody comes this way anymore, but you have the sense that anything placed in the mailbox attached to this old structure will be found by someone, the only living person for whom this place still has any meaning.

It would appear so. Not that I have any recollection of having departed.

First port of call, however: how have you been, Miss Grey?

Intact. Pinch is still active and we've mobilized different branches of service in the war. It's serving as a hub for the medic corps and I keep busy. My 'other issues' have bee stable for several moon cycles now, so I'm confident that it's dealt with.

As dealt with as it can be here without feeding regularly anyway.

Ah yes. The medic corps. I, too, am part of that, as well as the emergency response team.

May I ask what became of Asclepius? I see Draco is no longer residing in the city.

[She'd also signed onto the strike team, but that was something she was keeping quiet about publicly.]

Sophie took over there, and I think she was planning to keep the greenhouse going at the very least if not keep the shop open. Noland was doing the same at Castiel's shop. We're less focused on shops anymore than we are on keeping up supplies for the war effort.

All the gold in the world's useless if you're not there to spend it.
