An old, brick edifice stands in front of the burnt-down ruins of a home in the hillside. Mountains rear up in all directions, covered in lush, green vegetation. Nobody comes this way anymore, but you have the sense that anything placed in the mailbox attached to this old structure will be found by someone, the only living person for whom this place still has any meaning.

Until it's gone, I'll bet we can build back some levels. The herbs might get more effective too. Did you learn about any other forms of magic here?

I'm still searching for another type, but I haven't found anything just yet.

[Not that the bad is out of the way time to get to the fun part.]The good news is that runes are very much possible.

There were all sorts of them and things in Utgard it was amazing! Thanks to that visit I now have a few arrays done.

One is for channeling and storing magic.

[Chanelling, storing magic. Samantha went for her maps and pulled them out, looking them over and grunting.]

What do you think? Could those types of runes be used to increase the power of the ambient magic, re-invigorate the ley lines of a district?

The magic would normally be sucked out of a single storing array is place in Asgard but an entire net of them directly on all the connecting points, then yes it would be possible. However we couldn't activate them until all the points are found.

I need to double check the districts and make sure my maps are accurate. I can't promise it, but I tried mapping from outward signs where those ley lines would be. It's a little hit and miss, but maybe there's some maps of this in the library's private section. God, wish I could get into there so much.

A lot of us want into that place, it would seem. Well, it's a project for another day I guess. Just something to know. I can send you copies of my maps if you want all the same. They might be accurate already after all.
